Fisher; Printer, Penzance [1794]. A rare, ephemeral survivor of Georgian theatre in Penzance. The theatre in question is believed to be Penzance's Georgian Theatre on Chapel Street, built in 1787. Located behind the Union Hotel and above its stables, it would have been a raucous venue. Tickets were sold at the printers and at the Head Inn.
