(Penzance) Tidings. The Daily Edition of "The Cornish Telegraph". Penzance, Thursday, October 7th, 1880 One leaf, pp.2 to recto and verso, small hole to head margin not affecting text, vg, 1880. A significant artefact, with the verso describing the great storm of Mount's Bay, which resulted in loss of life and extensive damage to Penzance promenade, leading to its subsequent redevelopment, as famously depicted in Crosbie Garstin's 1889 painting "The Rain It Raineth Every Day."
