Adams, in South-Side-Street, Plymouth, 1760. Orion Adams (1717–1797) was an itinerant provincial printer active in several British and Irish towns, including Plymouth in the late 1750s. There, he issued the Plymouth Magazine (1758) and helped establish the town's earliest periodical press (Maxted, Devon Book Trades).
