An Indian Tantra Painting of Entwined Serpents, 20th Century. -
An Indian Tantra painting on aged paper, depicting two intertwined serpents in a confrontational pose. One serpent is predominantly green with lighter green circular scales, while the other is yellow/gold with similar circular scales. Both serpents feature reddish-brown bands and open mouths revealing pinkish interiors and extended forked tongues. A small, stylized character resembling an Indic numeral or symbol is visible in the upper central area above the yellow serpent's head, with other minor, indeterminate marks along the upper left margin.
