A CHINESE PAINTED POTTERY HORSE WITH MUSICIAN, TANG DYNASTY (618-907). The horse standing four square with a musician dressed in flowing robes and a hat playing a shakuhachi, painted with black, orange and reddish pigments. 34cm tall.
Provenance: Purchased from a London gallery circa 2000, without TL test.
Good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair.
