A CHINESE PAINTED POTTERY HORSE WITH MUSICIAN, TANG DYNASTY (618-907). The horse standing four square with a musician playing a lute, painted with black, orange and white pigments. 33.5cm tall.
Provenance: Purchased from a London gallery circa 2000, without TL test.
No obvious signs of damage or repairs. Flaking to coloured pigment in places. The lute has detached from both hands but can be repaired.
