WW2 2nd pattern Fat Grip Fairbairn-Sykes WD Arrow 4 Parkerised Commando Fighting Knife.

A good and scarce Fatboy grip example. The hilt with parkerised finished to the checkered grip. The base of the grip with a WD issue arrow and 4 below. Double edged, spear point blade with oval crossguard. Now housed in a later brown leather scabbard. The overall condition is good, blade length 18cm

This pattern of Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife is known to have been carried by the SAS during operations in North West Europe in WW2.
