WW1 British Steel Combat Helmet with Divisional Sign, interesting 2nd pattern example of a British WW1 helmet which has a rough textured paint finish to the shell and painted yellow circle divisional / formation sign. Interior of the helmet retains the oilcloth liner with pink brodie stamp to the underside and brown leather chinstrap.
Vendor states this helmet is attributed to the HLI and was worn by Major W M Hamilton, who's uniforms were sold in part 1 of this collection.
