WW1 Scots Guards Steel Combat Helmet, bring a refurbished example of a 1st pattern British steel helmet which still retains much of the original apple green paint finish to the shell, later applied edging to the rim. Side of the helmet has tartan / diced regimental sign for the Scots Guards. Helmet is fitted with a oilskin liner and leather chinstrap. The liner does not have the pink brodie stamp to the underside. Helmet shows wear.
