WW1 British Other Ranks Medics Steel Combat Helmet, fine example of a 2nd type brodie steel helmet which retains much of its original rough textured combat camouflage type paint finish to the exterior of the shell. Helmet has the brim covering. The front of the helmet has painted red cross medics insignia. Interior with the original oilskin liner system, leather chinstrap with the chinstrap mounts having the split pins. Overall a very nice example of a desirable WW1 steel helmet.
