Charles Eamer Kempe, an Arts and Crafts stained glass panel of St Paul, circa 1870, formerly from Christ Church, Gailey, Staffordshire, the single light in two united sections, the figure of the Apostle with sword, and book, in an interior scene with diaper leaded Morris inspired panes around the shield of St Paul, flanked by channels of alternating Gothic monogram and geometric motif panels, all above a further coat of arms within the same ground, 177cm high, 59cm wide overall, coloured panel 37cm wide Note: Commissioned for the Chapel of Ease adjacent to Penkridge Church, the panel was removed at the deconsecration of Christ Church in 1980; with original correspondence from the Lichfield Diocesan Board of Finance dated September and November 1979, agreeing to the purchase of the glass panels
