Clayton and Bell, a pair of stained glass panels of St John and St Luke, circa 1860, depicting Gothic niches surmounted by turrets and angels, containing full length lifelike figures of the saints with their emblematic accessories, the circulat cartouches below depicting scenes from their lives, 173cm high, 37cm wide (2) Note: Commissioned for the Chapel of Ease adjacent to Penkridge Church, Christ Church, Gailey, Staffordshire, the panels were removed at the deconsecration of Christ Church in 1980; with original correspondence from the Lichfield Diocesan Board of Finance dated September and November 1979, agreeing to the purchase of the glass panels
