A Large Qajar Polychrome Enamelled Pottery Vase, 19th Century.

Of baluster form with a slightly flared neck and short foot, the body richly decorated in vibrant polychrome enamels depicting a continuous narrative battle scene. The central frieze shows mounted warriors engaged in combat, armed with swords and spears, alongside figures on foot, elephants, and camels, all rendered in lively movement. A crowned figure on horseback appears within the procession, possibly representing a royal or heroic figure. The upper and lower sections are adorned with floral bands of stylised blossoms in pink, green, and blue, while the neck features a geometric border in cobalt and ochre tones.
