A 19TH CENTURY GOLD MOUNTED KRIS AND SCABBARD. The 39 cm twelve curve blade with a pronounced pamor in the Djarot Asem or Fibres of the Tamarind pattern. On a Javanese type hilt with gold mount (not tested) with beaded decoration. The scabbard of Javanese type mounted with a thin white-metal pendok chased with stylized floral and foliate patterns. 49 cm.
