A 19TH CENTURY JEWEL ENCRUSTED KRIS AND SCABBARD. The 34 cm blade with ten curves and pamor in the 'Along Along' pattern for warriors. The hilt finely carved in the patani manner in human form with long nose and with small arms clasped in front of the body. The selut mount probably in silver with scrolling foliage against blue enamel and mounted with rough cut 'white stones'. The scabbard with scrolling Javanese sampir and white metal pendok chased with floral and geometrical patterns. 47 cm.
