Smith RM [who took part in Normandy landings as part of 45 Commando]to UK with fine Field Post Office "367" cds, 1944 (July) very clean unfranked env ex Albania with fine double ring "POST OFFICE/MARITIME MAIL" top right in red & tombstone ship censor cachet in deep red-brown bottom left, 1944 (Aug) env franked 1½d Brown tied Norwich wavy line cds - much redirected and finally returned to sender with reportedly unrecorded h.s "ADDRESS NOT RECORDED/AT B.F.M.O. LONDON." [B.F.M.O. - British Fleet Mail Office] in purple on rear, etc. Plus group of P.O.W.
