MAIL: inc. a Clipper rate env. from Malaya to G.B. stamp tied by 1941 APO cancel and with a v. fine "wings/RAF/CENSOR/3", a 1941 env. (with contents) G.B. to Malaya posted 11 days before the Japanese invasion with v. fine "NO SERVICE/RETURN TO SENDER" h/s, a 1941 cover sent to Singapore but returned "ADDRESSEE/REPORTED MISSING" and another dated 1942 with Japanese censor markings on env. and contents presumably delivered to the officer at the POW camp in Thailand (where the prisoners were forced to work on the Burma railway), a 1946 entire describing the activities of a "jungle Rescue party" in Singapore, and a air letter with a fine "SALVAGED MAIL/COMET CRASH, NEAR CALCUTTA/2ND MAY 1953" h/s, plus a number of other covers with censor, APO & FPO markings.
