A MUGHAL BONE DAGGER AND SCABBARD, INDIA, 19TH CENTURY

The weapon features a slender, single-edged steel blade that tapers to a sharp point with a slight curve. The hilt is carved from a single piece of organic material bone, shaped into an ergonomic pistol-grip curve with a rounded pommel. The accompanying scabbard is constructed from the same organic material, consisting of two carved halves joined together. The scabbard is distinguished by a prominent recurved and curled tip.
