Jos Williamson, London - Early 18th century English ebonised double fusee verge bracket clock, the signed 7" x 8" brass dial with foliate engraving, cherub spandrels, matted centre with a false pendulum bob aperture over a calendar aperture, Roman numeral chapter ring with pierced steel hands, the movement with a foliate engraved and signed back plate, anchor escapement converted from verge and striking on a single bell, within an inverted bell-top ebonised glazed case inset with engraved foliate brass panels and surmounted with a brass carry handle, 17.5" high with the handle raised (with pendulum) (with faults and alterations to the repeat/strike train)
