William Tomlinson, London - Fine early 18th century English ebonised double fusee verge bracket clock with pull-repeat, the signed 7" x 8" brass dial with foliate engraving, strike/silent function lever, cherub spandrels, matted centre with a false pendulum bob aperture, ringed winding holes over a calendar aperture, silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands, five pillar movement with a signed and engraved foliate back plate with locking pendulum, verge escapement and pull quarter repeating on five bells, within an ebonised caddy top case applied with gilt metal mounts and cast feet, and surmounted with a gilt metal cherub carry handle, 17" high with the handle raised (with winding key)
