Shipping and Collection
Online bidding only; there is no public attendance at the auction. Please allow the auction to finish before attempting to collect any purchased items. Collections are available 48 hours after the auction ends to allow time for processing.
Shipping is available on many lots. If you require shipping, please contact us after the auction and before payment so your invoice can be adjusted. Payment for shipped lots is by bank transfer. We do not accept card payments over the telephone. Card payments are accepted in person on collection.
Our in-house shipping service is the main option for most UK mainland deliveries. Smaller suitable items are usually sent by tracked post or courier, typically Royal Mail, Parcel Force, or DPD. Larger, heavier, awkward, or fragile items may be delivered by our own vehicle. As we process a high volume of goods after each sale, fragile or hand-delivered items are usually dispatched within approximately 7 to 28 days of the auction closing.
We can also ship many suitable items worldwide. International shipping is available on many lots, although some destinations, larger items, fragile items, or high-value items may require a specialist carrier or a tailored quotation.
Some lots are unsuitable or uninsurable for postal shipping. Shipping does not form part of your bid and, if we are unable to ship a lot for any reason, you will still be responsible for arranging collection or your own courier. If you arrange your own courier, they must bring suitable packing materials unless packing has been agreed with us in advance.
Independent Courier and Shipping Recommendations
If you would prefer an alternative to our in-house shipping service, we are happy to suggest independent third-party providers for furniture, fragile items, overseas transport, or urgent collections. In some regions we may suggest shippers that buyers have used before, but these are examples only and do not limit where we can ship.
Please note that any third-party courier or shipper we suggest is provided for convenience only. They are entirely independent from us and are not connected with, employed by, or acting on our behalf. If you choose to use a third-party courier or shipping company, this will be treated as collection in person. Once a lot has been handed to your chosen courier or shipper, all responsibility passes to you and your chosen carrier, including packing, handling, transport, insurance, delay, loss, and damage.
