A MIXED FISHING LOT: AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY HARDY’S TROUT REEL & ROD, circa 1925-1930s: includes: A Hardy Perfect, 3 1/8” with agate line guard & ribbed brass foot reel. Inscribed ‘Lady Murphy – 9ft Trout Rod’. "The "Perfect" Fly Reel, with Patent Nos: 24245 & 9261 Duplicated Mark II. Made by Hardy Bros Ltd, Alnwick England. Along with a Palakona, delux model rod with spare tip. All in fine condition, complete with a Hardy’s reel pouch, the original inner silk bag, outer bank bag (needs some care) and the aluminium carry tube. Rare to have all these Hardy pieces in one lot.
