1843 (Sep 14) Small cover from Walmer franked 1840 2d blue plate 2 IH, three margins, just touched at base, tied by a very smudged black Maltese Cross, addressed in the Duke of Wellington s handwriting to "The Countess of Witton, Heaton Park, Manchester", the reverse with "WALMER" undated circle and red wax seal impressed with the Dukes arms.
