Victorian locket and guard chain; the locket of rounded oval form, featuring an elongated star design set with split pearls, turqouise cabochons and a central round-cut diamond of approximately 1.5 mm, to an applied teardrop motif, topped with a halo of split pearls and turquoise; smooth on reverse and unglazed compartments within, in unmarked yellow metal testing as 14ct, drop 7 cm, width 3.8 cm, locket weight 30.9 grams; the tapered bail attached to an Albert hook in yellow metal stamped "9K", suspended from a guard chain of approximately 200 cm, comprised of oval belcher links, with double bead motifs to centre, in unmarked yellow metal, chain weight including Albert hook 55 grams.
