Good 19th century French bronze and ormolu mantel clock, the 3.75" circular brass dial with engine turned centre, signed on a plaque Jn Fs Bautte & Cie, Genéve, movement signed Cleret, no. 4258, with outside countwheel and silk suspension, striking the half hours and hours on a bell, the case modelled with the figure of a lady and a seated hound either side of an ivy covered tree stump, the rectangular plinth base mounted with trophies, upon anthemion scroll feet, 14" wide, 19" high (with pendulum and later key)
