Bayonet: A Crimean War dated French Model 1842 bayonet, made at Chattelerault in June 1850, recorded in script on the top flat of the 22.5" blade (some sharpening). Contained in its steel scabbard. Bayonet has light rusting to scabbard & cross guard. Requires a clean but overall is in good condition.
