AN ARMY LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL TO THE 33RD REGIMENT OF FOOT. A Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, 2nd type with badge of Hanover omitted, named to Thomas Rawson 33rd Regiment Foot 1840. On clip and horizontal suspension. Thomas Rawson served at Waterloo and in the advance to Paris serving with the Army of Occupation from 1815. He was discharged on request on the 22nd April 1833 and awarded this medal in 1835. He died on the 4th October 1872 as a Chelsea Hospital 'In' Pensioner.
