Bayonet: An Imperial German Prussian Model 1871 bayonet for infantry. Regimentally marked 38.R.9.153 (38th Regiment, 9th Company, weapon number 153). Brass hilt, S quillons. Maker "W R Kirschbaum Solingen" to ricasso. Top flat of blade shows Crown/W(illhelm)/75(1875). Service wear overall but in good condition. In it brass mounted leather scabbard (marked later to 71st Regiment). Top 5 inches of stitching a/f but 10" good. A good, honest, untouched example.
