AN 18TH CENTURY CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE PART TEA SERVICE, enamelled with peony and other blossom within a border of diaper cell and crosshatched panels and reserves of peony, below a blue and gilt rim line, comprising eight cups and seven tea bowls, nine saucers, milk jug (no lid), sugar bowl and slop bowl, oblong dish, teapot (handled off but present), a large saucer dish (broken but pieces present), a further saucer, two cups, two tea bowls, all with noticeable cracks, chips or repairs, (35 pieces)
TEAPOT: Large flat chip to lid which has been re-applied but leaving a crescent shaped gap - rubbing to finial. Spout is cracked all around the base, probably has been re-applied. Handle is off but present.
JUG: No cracks, chops or restoration.
SMALL BOWL: has small chip to the rim.
LARGE BOWL: Has two chips to the rim with long cracks running from one.
OVAL DISH: Has virtually lost the gilt line through rubbing.
ONE CUP - is crazed.
ONE CUP - Has two substantial cracks from the rim and is crazed.
ONE CUP - has handled re-applied and is crazed.
ONE CUP - has 1.5cm fine crack from rim.
ONE TEA BOWL - has a small chip to the rim.
ONE TEA BOWL - has a piece missing from the rim.
ONE TEA BOWL - has two very small chips to the rim.
ONE TEA BOWL - has a crack and two chips
ONE SAUCER - has a chip and two cracks
ONE SAUCER - has two chips to the rim
ONE SAUCER - has a chip to the rim.
ONE SAUCER - has a chip to the foot of the rim.
ONE SAUCER - is broken pieces present.
The large saucer dish is broken and is chipped - pieces present.
