Theyre Lee-Elliot (1903-1988) a folio of original watercolour/gouache paintings and sketches, 1950s - 1980s (17), together with a small sketchbook containing watercolour botanical studies by the same hand, and a book 'Paintings Of The Ballet' published in 1947 (signed inside the cover). Theyre Lee-Elliot created notable art deco pieces of graffic design such as the Imperial Airways 1932 'Speedbird' logo and many others for the Post Office and Ministry of Health. He also had a close affinity to the ballet and designed sets for Sadlers Wells Theatre.
