HMS CALCUTTA TOUR: an album of material relating to a tour made by HMS Calcutta, 1923-26, comprising approx 140 postcard and snapshot photograph views of locations including Demerara (with sugar plantations etc), Calcutta, St Lucia, Grenada and other Caribbean islands, naval sporting and social events, dockyard at Antigua and Bermuda, many images annotated, a few manuscript maps and numerous pages of related press cuttings, contained in earlier cloth backed ledger, covers rubbed and scuffed but contents generally sound.
