A 19TH-CENTURY TORTOISESHELL HAIR COMB
The arched crest pierced and carved with scrolling foliate ornament, above a row of long tapering teeth. The warm translucency and fine workmanship are typical of fashionable Continental hair ornaments of the mid-to-late 19th century.
