Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago (mya), during the Early Miocene to the Pliocene. 13cm in length from the tip of the tooth to the furthest point on the root. 11.7cm wide at the root. Weight 215 grams.
