The sampler reciting the alphabet and numbers, with passage reading: ' To learn to think, and to learn to feel Becomes a youthful heart. But you must also learn betimes. To act a worthy part.' Marriott Teft worked this in 1843. With floral motifs throughout. Framed and glazed.
