A CASED SET OF SIX ROYAL WORCESTER COFFEE CUPS AND SAUCERS AND SIX SILVER GILT COFFEE SPOONS, the cups with gilt interiors hand painted with peacocks perched amongst branches, the saucers with gilt centres and painted with Autumnal foliage, some pieces signed Sedgeley, date cypher 1922, although one saucer bears date cypher for 1925, puce printed marks, the spoons maker Henry James Hulbert, London 1921, all housed in a silk and velvet lined case, bears retailers stamp for Mortimer Ricks, 32 Victoria St, Paignton (Condition Report: the 1925 saucer sounds dull when tapped, two cups sound defective and one cup has a patch of restoration to the rim, the spoons have fairly dull gilding, the case interior has some brown spots and damaged lining at the hinge)
