A pair of 18th century Sevres wall sconces, painted by Jean Baptiste Etienne Genest (French, 1752-1788), each with three ormolu candle holders below, the oval portrait miniatures to the top depicting Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, 15 by 11cm, and below each a cartouche pastoral scene, with figures to the foreground, the tops finished with ormolu tied ribbon decorations, with guild marks R. and G. verso, 37 by 41cm.
