Pair of Headdress of A J L Donaldson Royal Scots, consisting of a pre-WW1 peaked dress cap with diced regimental headband, officers silver gilt and enamel cap star. Thin patent chinstrap with regimental side buttons. Tan leather sweatband and cloth lining to the interior. Accompanied by his full dress Kilmarnock Bonnet with silver gilt and enamel regimental badge to the diced head band. Red wool pom pom top, silks and thin chinstrap. Light beige leather sweatband and cloth lining with gilt tooled tailors details to the crown. Housed in a japanned storage tin with white painted name of the original owner, ‘A J L Donaldson Royal Scots’. Some damage to the tin but otherwise good condition.
