A 19TH CENTURY GERMAN FLINTLOCK PISTOL BY I.H. WICHMANN, OLDENBURG. A 19th Century muzzle loading flintlock pistol with a 28.5 cm tapering damascus type barrel, 14 mm at the muzzle. Stamped 324 and 'VC', with percussion action firing mechanism, the lock plate marked 'I. H. Wichmann in Oldeburg' unit marked to the other side 'A51' with walnut stock with fitting for extended stock. Various parts numbered '24'. 44 cm overall.
