A rare demantoid green garnet diamond and ruby salamander brooch, mounted in silver and gold.
The salamander realistically modelled, the body centred with a line of bright green demantoid garnets. With old-cut diamond surround and demantoid garnet legs, cabochon ruby eye (one cabochon ruby deficient and one small demantoid garnet deficient).
