CARVED WOOD FIGURE GROUP OF THE VIRGIN AND CHILD, PROBABLY 18TH CENTURY
Carved standing figure of the Virgin holding the Christ Child, with an additional smaller attendant figure. The drapery is deeply cut and the surface bears a darkened patina consistent with age and devotional handling. Stylistically consistent with 18th-century continental carving rather than later academic work.
