A PERSIAN ZAND ENGRAVED BRASS DRINKING BOWL WITH CALLIGRAPHIC SCRIPT, 18TH CENTURY
Features a plain, rounded exterior and a densely decorated interior. The interior surface is executed with fine engraving and etching, centered on a large medallion containing floral and scrolling vine arabesque motifs. This central design is framed by concentric borders of scrolling foliage and an outer perimeter band containing a continuous line of calligraphic script.
