A collection of abstract paintings by the artist Linda King, each executed in acrylic on stretched canvas. The works demonstrate a variety of contemporary techniques and styles. One vertically-oriented piece, titled Colour Brings Joy - Kicks Some Life Into Life, features a large yellow circle with a red and white outline set against a black ground with a vertical blue border; it is signed, titled, and dated 26.5.10 on the reverse. A horizontal painting titled 4 Colours Sunrise is rendered with thick, impasto brushstrokes in primary colours and green, signed and dated 31.5.25 - 2.6.25 on the verso. Another horizontal panel, titled A Twenty-One Gun Salute To My Little Chickadee, consists of energetic red, blue, and black splatters on a bright yellow field, with a verso inscription stating the medium was applied with party poppers and dated 3.4.10. The final panel is titled “4 COLOURS” in Circles and depicts three multi-coloured segmented circular motifs on a black ground, signed and dated 18-20.8.25 on the reverse. All four works are unframed.
