"Quan Ho Folk Songs" by Hieu De, 57 x 39 cm, ink and color on silk. Perfect condition. Nguyen Tanh De (Hieu De, 1935–2009) was a Vietnamese painter, educator, and political cartoonist, and a graduate of the first class of the Gia Dinh College of Fine Arts. Worked across oil, watercolor, lacquer, and silk - depicting historical figures and Vietnamese daily life. After resettling in Michigan in 1989, he continued painting and served as Secretary General of the Overseas Vietnamese PEN Center. This item is held at Cadmore ASIAN Office in Vietnam and will be shipped from there. Buyers will be responsible for direct shipping payments. Delivery will take slightly longer.
