Henry VII (1485‑1509), AR Groat, 2.96gm., London, class IVa. mm: cross‑crosslet, (1504‑1505).
Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches, single‑arched crown, 4 saltires on double bar, no jewels, double crown‑bar, rev. Long cross with trio of pellets in each quarter, saltire stops. (N 1706a; S 2200). Extremely Fine, attractively toned, originally encapsulated by ANACS as EF 45, (cert. inc.) , very rare variety.
