A 19th century silver open-face key-wind rack lever pocket watch, by Robert Roskell of Liverpool, white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, gilt spade hands, foliate chased patent balance cock and rose-cut diamond balance jewel, hallmarks London 1888, serial no. 20690, case no. 863, case width 50mm, working order
Movement – currently working but appears to have a faint beat
Dial - several horizontal hairline cracks and text has been later added
Glass - light surface marks
Hands - good but possibly replacements
Case - not original to the movement and has a large dent on caseback with engraved initials CSC, quite heavily worn
