A FINE OMANI KHANJAR DAGGER AND SCABBARD. Having a 15 cm curved blade with central spine, mounted on a decorated hilt in whit- metal with applied wire-work decoration throughout. The scabbard similarly profusely decorated with five ring pattern and cross mount. 30 cm. "The silver used in Oman was often beaten out of silver Maria Theresa Thaler coins, an international currency used throughout the 19th and 20th centuries".
Light scuffing and marking, generally a nice example. Collection numbers.
