A MID 19TH CENTURY ORMOLU MOUNTED SÈVRES PORCELAIN CLOCK GARNITURE, the drum shaped case with floral frame headed by a dove, the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed Stammer & Breul, in Wein, foliate swept sides and frieze above a panelled oval base, inset central rectangular panel finely painted with winged amorini, the bowed end panels floral painted, all on a turquoise ground, the front with pair of cast infant figures and female mask and shell centre, outset shell feet to the sides,16cm high x 28cm wide; together with a pair of candle stands modelled with a pair of winged amorini holding foliate branches, the cylindrical porcelain bases conformingly floral painted, on ornate mounts set with scrolling leafy corbels, garlands and palmette borders, 42cm high, c.1860.
