A large well carved antique black forest cuckoo clock, the canopy surmounted by a stag’s head flanked by oak leaves and hunting rifles, above foliate carved and pierced motifs depicting further oak leaves and intertwined branches, the dial within a carved wreath surround, flanked by stags’ heads and with central motif relief carved as a powder flask amidst crossed rifles. Complete with two cast iron pinecone weights and oak leaf pendulum.
