AN AMERICAN REMINGTON FIRST WORLD WAR 1918 PATTERN BAYONET AND SCABBARD. A 1918 pattern bayonet with a 43 cm sharpened pointed blade with single fuller, marked '1918 Remington' and 'US' beneath a flaming grenade. With a two part wooden grip, in a green finished leather scabbard with brown leather frog and belt hanger. 60 cm overall.
Usual scuffig and marks, strap at top of belt hanger broken. Generally a nice example.
