£35 - £40
Mixed lot of vintage English porcelain and ironstone featuring decorative tableware and giftware by well-known makers including Alfred Meakin, Crown Ducal, Mason’s Ironstone, and Aynsley.
Together, these pieces reflect the enduring popularity of British ceramics from the late 19th century through the 20th century—when potteries in Staffordshire and beyond became world-famous for combining elegant floral designs with durable wares made for everyday use and special occasions.
This collection includes two Alfred Meakin “Medina” shape plates in the Bengal Tree pattern (a classic “chinoiserie-inspired” decorative style), a Crown Ducal “Chinese Garden” coffee pot (Crown Ducal was a major name in Staffordshire ceramics, prized for decorative patterned services), a Mason’s Ironstone jug in the Mandalay pattern (Mason’s helped popularize “ironstone” in the 1800s—hard-wearing, beautifully decorated ceramics made for both function and display), plus three attractive Aynsley items: a Little Sweetheart trinket box with lid, a Cottage Garden bud vase, and a Wild Tudor fluted vase with a delicate floral motif and gold-trimmed scalloped rim.
All pieces appear in excellent condition, with no obvious chips or cracks noted. A great opportunity for collectors, decorators, or resellers seeking quality branded ceramics in one lot.
